Theologybooks.com is concerned about protecting your privacy, and we want you to know exactly what kinds of information we're collecting and what that information is being used for. INFORMATION COLLECTION
Only in the order process is a user ever required to give any information that is personally identifying information. This information is only used to fulfill the order that the user has submitted. If a credit card number is given for payment purposes, that number is encrypted and stored in a separate, secure area and deleted immediately after the order has been processed.
In signing up for an account, the user is required to give an email address; the account feature is intended for the convenience of our customers and is not required for placing an order through the site.
Account holders are also given the option of storing billing information for retrieval in the checkout process but are not required to do so. Only the address information is retained; no credit card data is stored as part of the account.
Theologybooks.com does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge any personal information.
We do not currently collect information from any other area of the website. We do reserve the right to collect non-identifying information (such as website/page traffic statistics, and aggregated wish list entries from accounts).
COOKIES
We do use cookies on the website. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places in memory on a user's computer to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable theologybooks.com to provide a shopping cart and maintain our account feature.
NOTE: Our cookies expire as soon as the user's browser is closed and are not stored permanently in any way.
INFORMATION USAGE
The information collected by Theologybooks.com will be used for website features and internal research only. Registered users may receive announcements from Theologybooks.com and/or a participating merchant about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter.
